I finally got together with MN Bike Trail Navigator blogger Chris Chavie on Monday and we rode the MN River Bottoms trails for several hours. Chris’ blog is primarily about the state’s recreational bicycle trails (paved and otherwise).
But he likes variation for his own riding and he was itching to get out on some singletrack with his new Trek Mamba 29er. So we met at the 35W/Lyndale parking lot, rode the river bottoms trail to the Cedar Ave bridge and back, and then did the segment to the Hwy 169/Bloomington Ferry Bridge and back.
Chris took some photos of me on a few of the many fun (optional) technical obstacles along the trails.
